It seems as though racism & sexism are also dangerous contagions - ones we must fight with courage and rationalism. As a Canadian Senator, #IStandWithDrTam and with all the public health officers across Canada, doing their best in these difficult days.

(Footnote - has the public health response in Canada been flawless & above criticism? Nope. But it’s been pretty solid. And where it can be critiqued, that critique should surely be made without racist or sexist slurs, no?)
