These women kept our club going for years and our club would not be here today if it wasn’t for them!
So many things have changed in our game since these photos were taken but one thing that hasn’t is the love (1/2)

We’ve been going through the 100 years of Glory; A History of Limerick GAA and we found some photos of members of the club! We’ll be posting them over the next few days!
Photo one although isn’t of an Ahane team there is a player in it who has played a huge part in our club over the years and his daughter is currently playing on our Senior team! Can you spot him?
Photo two is of the Limerick Junior All Ireland winning team of 1977 can you spot the Ahane players? One of whom still played with the club up until recent years and won a county medal with us in 2018!
Photo three is of the @LimCamogie Senior team of 1978 again notice anyone familiar?
Ahane Camogie Senior Co Champions of 1970 these women were the back bone of the club for so many years, Fr Murray restarted the Camogie club and the club went on to win 8 county titles between 1967 and 1973 Fr Murray was a huge part of our club and we owe a lot to him
