This era is one of the most memorable eras in pop music if not the most memorable one. Katy wasn’t letting the other artists breathe with this album. She CHANGED pop music and she remains as one of the most important artists of all time.
But let’s talk more about the success of the era. She had 6 #1’s with this era, she achieved something that ONLY Michael Jackson did, and if Billboard wouldn’t have changed the rules she would have broken MJ’s record! One word: ICONIC.
She didn’t only have a lot of #1’s in the Hot 100 but also in Hot Dance Club Songs with 9 SONGS, making it the album with most #1 on the chart. All the singles and ‘Peacock’ reached the #1. Also all 5 of the singles topped then airplay charts, making her the first artist to do so

The Teenage Dream era is the best-selling women's era in the history of the United States (RIAA) with 57.5 MILLION units sold.
I can continue but I think I made my point. The Teenage Dream era was Katy’s peak and even pop music’s peak. It is one of the most successful eras ever, and maybe the most successful female era in music history.
She changed our childhoods with her hits that we all sang and danced. It was so iconic and it remains as one of the most memorable eras of the decade and of all time! I think that we will never see another era like this one, she really set the bar too high.
