On this thundererous day when even the clouds are weeping let me do a small thread on Uttara Kandam, most emotional, painful & ruthless part of Valmiki Ramayan, the harsh realities of life & the destiny which swayam devtas can't escape. The curse of Bhrigu on bhagwan Vishnu.
Garbhvati Vaidehi expressed her wish to visit the ashrams of the great rishis at the bank of Ganga.

Ram enquired his counciller Vadra what good and bad things the city and province folks talk about him & the royal family.
"But now a great sorrow consequent upon the censure of the citizens & villagers hath pierced my heart.
Up to this time I have never experienced such a mighty grief."  Rama with a heart stricken with grief commanded Lakshmana to take away Sita to the Valmiki Ashram with Sumantra.
Narashrestha! Lakshman with a poor heart approached Sita to leave with him to ashram.
"I behold many inauspicious omens. My right eye & body are trembling. It is stricken with anxiety & I have accordingly grown restless. I behold the earth as void of all happiness." Sita said.
"O worshipful queen, pierced my heart like a dart, that my brother, by making me the instrumental of this action hath made me the object of censure in the world. The death & the pain consequent upon it are better than the action I engaged in. Do not hold me responsible for this."
Hearing the ruthless words of Lakshmana, Sita felt, greatly sorry & fell down on earth.

O Saumitri, I shall just renounce my life in the waters ofJahnavi? But I desist from this for it shall bring about the extermination of my husband's race.
Being sunk in grief and pressed down
with the weight of sorrow on not beholding Rama, the fore-most of the illustrious, Sita began to cry aloud
in the forest resounded with the notes of peacocks.
O Janakputri thy coming here is auspicious. The pious ascetics here shall take care of thee as their daughter. Confiding in me do thou remove thy grief. Be not sorry for anything; consider that thou has come to thy own home.
Rishi Valmiki consoled Devi Sita.
Rama, who, when enraged, is capable of slaying the Rakshasas, hath been engaged in the worship of destiny. He did go through miseries, residing in the Dandaka forest for 14 years. But this banishment is exceedingly painful & most ruthless.

Said Lakshman bewildered with grief.
Be not aggrieved for Sita, formerly the Brahmananas narrated this account of Site's exile. Rama shall be deprived of all happiness & be separated from his dear wife; what more, under the influence of time, renounce thee, Sita, Satrughna & Bharata.

Arya Sumantra replied.
Sumantra revealed the mystery of Durbasa's account.

Angry on beholding his wife slain,
Bhrigu, imprecated a curse on Vishnu, —"O Janarddana, thou shalt be born in the region of mortals. & there
thou shalt remain separated from thy spouse for many long years."
Rama shall reign in Ayodhya for a long time. All his followers shall be happy & prosperous. Having reigned for 11000 years, Rama shall repair to the reign of Brahma. None shall be able to vanquish him. He shall celebrate many Ashvamedha yagya. He shall beget on Sita two sons."
