There was an awful lot riding on the appointment of whoever it was that would end up overseeing all the Russia-related investigations, it's quite true.

This was FULLY DISCUSSED at the time Rosenstein's nomination was being voted on in the Congress in late April 2017.

And when the vote to confirm Rosenstein took place on April 25, 2017, after Sessions recusal, at the time everybody understood what this guys role was going to be.

Barr sits RIGHT THERE and explain under oath what Rosenstein's dual role is.

True, he doesn't blurt out "AND ROSENSTEIN WAS CLEARED TO TESTIFY AGAINST THESE SPYGATE PEOPLE FROM THE BEGINNING!" but what other conclusion can you draw?

He was CLEARED to do both.

That means when Trump tapped Rosenstein for the job right after Session's recusal, the DOJ Ethics Dept. was asked to look at this issue:

Can this guy both oversee the investigations, make decisions, and then turn around & be a witness against his co-workers?
