Stephen Curry is the best offensive player this game has ever seen.

Here is a long thread that explains why
Let's start with some stats. I'll compare 14 of the best offensive players in NBA history with 14 different statistics which include stats about scoring, shooting, passing...

First stat ⬇️
Career stats of these 14 players

Notes :
-Steph Curry leads 6 of the 14 categories (FTA and MIN are considered better when low, efficiency thing)
-He is having similar numbers as Shaq, who is a center, on eFG% and PPS
-2nd best ratio assist/turnovers
-50-40-90 club
Now the playoffs stats

Notes :
-Steph leads 5 of the 14 categories
-3rd in averages per 36 minutes
-Only player with less than 6 FTA
-50-40-90 club
Stat from the best 5-season span of each player

Notes :

-54-43-91 splits
-Only player with both eFG% and TS% over 60%

Stats of the best season of each player

Notes :
-Steph Curry in the top 4 in 13 of the 14 categories, first in 8 of them
-Unreal shooting splits

His 2015-16 regular season is, without a doubt, the best offensive season EVER, numbers are here.
It's a known thing that Stephen Curry is the most efficient player in NBA history, and also the best shooter this game has ever seen.

And this helps making is case for the best offensive player, especially when he has also one of the best assists/turnovers ratio.
There is only 1 point where he isn't above players like MJ or even Harden, the scoring numbers.

I've taken out the FGA of my stats, but it's the reason why. Steph Curry is the most efficient, so if he takes as many shots, he will score more points.

You don't believe me ? ⬇️
Steph Curry never took more than 20.2 shots a game in a season, he is averaging 17.1 FGA over his career. In comparaison Jordan has had a season with 27.8 FGA and averages 22.9 FGA a game over his career.

Don't tell me the best offensive player is the one who takes more shots.
Now the question is : why Steph Curry doesn't take as many shots as these players ?

First of all he plays less minutes, coach decision not his.
But the real reason is that he is so efficient he doesn't need to take that many shots.

Here are some numbers to confirm that
And when we talk about this argument, some persons will say that he doesn't take as many shots as Jordan or Harden just because he can't, because he can't carry a team.

Well it's wrong
Another aspect of Steph Curry's unmatched offensive game is his GRAVITY. And I'm not talking about being doubled or trippled, at half court or even in the tunnel. I'm talking about being that much attractive that it creates open threes for Klay Thompson or open dunks for Iguodala
To go with it Steph has the entire offensive package : finish at the rim, both hands, floater/runner, midrange, pullups, threes, off the dribble or off the catch, deep threes, stepback, fadeaway, use of the glass, high arcing shots, dunk (!!!), handles, passes...
And just think about imagine, imagine how great is a player to changed the way of the game is played. If the game turned into an offensive game that much, it's because of Stephen Curry.

Now to close it here is a long list of Steph Curry's offensive accomplishments ⬇️
5Ă— NBA three-point field goals leader : 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017

I'm open to debate than but my mind won't change.
