Had a quick look on the Dribbble front page today and there& #39;s definitely a certain style happening among most designers.

Say what you want about it, but two interesting observations:
1. Overall design execution (across the global design community) has improved greatly over the years, while it might appear nonexclusive or generic, it has a broad appeal.

2. There& #39;s a new found "Kawaii" aspect to modern interaction design (Japan & others have had it for years).
Cute characters, round friendly shapes and a "feel good attitude" that has a great psychological effect (there a few interesting studies on it)
