underrated; something that has not received the merit, recognition or praise it deserves

underappreciated; not appreciated or valued enough

some of the songs i post are more popular than others, that's a fact. i just wanted to clear the air and say that -

even though some songs might have been well-known some time ago doesn't mean they're popular anymore, and i feel like those songs should still be more appreciated. -

if i post a song from a well-know group/artist, what i mean by it is that the song deserves more recognition when talking about the groups/artists music in general, meaning it's an underrated song BY that group/artist, compared to their other songs.

then we have the songs that are (in this case mostly in my opinion) just so freaking good and they deserve so much more. those songs might be quite well-known, but i decide to tweet them anyways since i feel like they still deserve more recognition.

then of course i post songs from groups/artists that are generally underrated, i believe that's a pretty obvious thing. but all i wanted to say is please, don't scream about how a song x from group x isn't underrated/appreciated, i've rejected a ton of song requests and -

i choose to post the songs i believe (because of the reasons i told above) fit into this account's purpose.

let me just add here that underrated songs and artists are a different thing. my account was created to post underrated songs from everyone; no matter if the group is popular or not, because also popular groups can and do have underrated songs compared to their other songs

also adding here that the music show wins songs get do not always define how popular the song is of course the song plays a part in the music show wins but it's also all about timing and the overall popularity of the group/artist if they get wins or not

one more thing! the word "underrated" is not meant to be an insult. i personally think it should be taken as a compliment because that means (in this case) the song is so good it deserved more recognition than it got and it should be appreciated more

please note that 99% of the songs i post are requests and i might not be familiar with all of them. even though i try my best to do a suuuper quick researches i just simply do not have time to check each song's melon rakinga, spotify streams, youtube views, dig/phy sales... etc!

also please note that i'm not korean nor do i live in korea; i might not know if the song has been a big hit in korea or not, i'm posting these songs from an international point of view.
