Since the days of Nnamdi Azikiwe and Ahmadu Bello, there’s been no love los between the average Igbo & Hausa/Fulani person.

Escalated with Nzeogwu’s seemingly tribal coup.

Then Ojukwu/Gowon + 3million dead Igbo people.

That hatred persists today. Why are we still ONE country?
The hatred is too much. It has lasted for too long. We’re sitting on a delicate bomb that can go off at the slightest push. And all these tweets are a reminder that the hatred isn’t going anywhere any time soon. What do we have to do to ensure our children are not born into it?
I don’t want to play semantics. Millions of Igbo people have died because of Northerners, that’s a fact. I have and can talk about that, but right now I’m focused on why we are still ONE country, considering the hate. If “no love lost” is a problem, delete it. Focus on the point.
