@gillibrandny and @tulsigabbard 's kumbaya: a thread.
1. They were the only two presidential candidates to vote NAY on all of the 2017-2020 NDAAs.

Kirsten actually encouraged Tulsi to run and raised funds for her 2012 HoR campaign, which helped propel Tulsi from 20% to 65% in Feb, to 33% to 43% in April 29, and finally a 20% lead (49%-29%) in August 2 against the former Honolulu mayor Mufi Hanneman.

Tulsi and Kirsten both openly spoke out advocating the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan on the 10th anniversary, in 2011.

They worked together on a bipartisan, bicameral bill to assist the victims of military sexual trauma (MST) in 2013 -- H.R. 2016. https://gabbard.house.gov/news/press-releases/rep-tulsi-gabbard-leads-house-legislation-assist-victims-military-sexual-trauma
They also worked together on a bipartisan, bicameral bill to clear criminal records of human trafficking victims, called Trafficking Survivors Relief Act of 2016. https://gabbard.house.gov/news/press-releases/rep-tulsi-gabbard-announces-bipartisan-bicameral-legislation-clear-criminal
Which they later reintroduced again in 2017. https://gabbard.house.gov/news/press-releases/photo-rep-tulsi-gabbard-reintroduces-bipartisan-bicameral-legislation-clear
Here is the vestige of a now-lost Makers vid where Tulsi talked about her experience working with Senator Gillibrand. If one of y'all had saved it by chance, or have a link where the vid exists, please do.

Tulsi and Kirsten were actually photographed together at the 16th Annual Commemoration Ceremony at the WTC site for 9/11 terror victims. "[...]Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) talks with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) as they attend [...]"

Don't forget this moment when CNBC "accidentally" put Kirsten's face over Tulsi's and Geoff Yang's face over Andrew Yang.

And don't forget that Kirsten vouched for Tulsi in one of her campaign e-mails, even having Tulsi as her subject line (mentioned in this @KimIversenShow vid, timestamped):
Also, Tulsi and Kirsten first announced their bids only 4 days apart from each other. Tulsi on Jan 11. Kirsten on Jan 15. Do note that right in the middle of those days is Jan 13, Andrew Yang's and my birthday.

And here again, Tulsi and Kirsten stood next to each other at Rep. Jim Clyburn's Fish Fry on June 22, 2019.
And don't forget that they both announced their support for you-know-who on the same day, March 19, 2020 -- only hours apart in fact. (Tulsi did so at 9:45 AM, while Kirsten did so at 5:35 PM, both CST). One's got to wonder if Kirsten was actually thinking of endorsing Tulsi.
To end this thread, let me just post this fortuitous picture in Amherst, N.H. on July 4, 2019. "Candidate Kirsten Gillibrand marches in the parade with Tulsi Gabbard following behind." In the event I dig up more, I shall update this thread.

Thanks to @Bottoms4Tulsi for digging this up. Tulsi and Kirsten both participated in a Congressional Women's Softball Game. This was them practicing in 2014. https://twitter.com/CWSoftballGame/status/452067598558330880?s=19
And here's the 2015 edition, which again, both participated in. https://www.rollcall.com/2015/05/21/freshmen-join-congressional-womens-softball-game-2/
Also, on the website of SexyCongress . net, in 2015, Tulsi and Kirsten topped the polls among the women in Congress -- Tulsi at #1 and Kirsten at #2. Such kumbaya. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/sexiest-member-congress/story?id=32591426
And both also stand on the Armed Services Committee. Tulsi is in the House Armed Services Committee, whereas Kirsten is in the Senate Armed Services Committee. https://www.rollcall.com/2019/01/17/armed-services-experience-is-in-for-2020-presidential/

And, as fate has it, both Tulsi and Kirsten were not included in Joe's vid. Date with destiny, I dare say? Thank you, @girlyGRRRL for pointing this out.
