It's tempting to say "they've got other things on their plate" but I don't think that's good enough, especially when people all over the world protested about the #Danish cartoons in 2005

People can find it within themselves to protest a blasphemous cartoon in a Danish newspaper but not the blasphemy of having the literal word of God rewritten or their temples defiled & torn down?

I can logically explain some of the silence away. #Pakistan stays silent out of geopolitical interests vis a vis their need to balance power against #India but if power politics trumps your faith have you sacrificed your right to speak out in future? I think so.
