My mom was recovering for surgery and inadvertently discovered gravity falls, and now my entire house has descended into wonderful weird chaos that includes my mother having this sign made for her office @_AlexHirsch
This has escalated further. My dad, a grumpy man who never wants to watch what we like, suddenly said “put the Dipper show on” during dinner. The show is now universally referred to in my parents house as “the Dipper show”
My mother and sister purchased chickens, and one of them was immediately named Mabel.
I made some sort of ungodly screeching noise and my mother said “okay, paper jam dipper.”
Like, yeah, I had to wait twenty-six years for my family to make references to shows I enjoy, but damn was it worth it.
@_AlexHirsch an update to this thread, proving my mother’s devotion to this show. as an added bonus, my parents LITERALLY sent their two children to Oregon every summer growing up to stay with our grandma, so this show’s always going to mean a lot to me.
