for 16 years, lorelai gilmore never brought a date to her house because she refused to make rory uncomfortable or disrupt her life in anyway... how anyone can say that woman, who continuously put her kid before herself, is selfish i just don’t know

she loves rory so much, she drops almost anything to help people she cares about: luke, lane, even christopher (who didn’t deserve it) lorelai gilmore is a good woman and i will not hear any slander against her just because she’s also funny and easygoing (perceived as immaturity)

i am, as always, a lorelai gilmore apologist. she never did anything wrong in her whole life except the tiny things she did but that’s not the point
