Debunking the Myth that Pogba is more versatile and complete than De Bruyne. A thread:
De bruyne can play anywhere in midfield this includes:

- His usual role an Attacking Mid
- As a Box to box Midfielder
- As a second striker/ False no.9
- Even on the Left and Right wings when he first came to city under Pellegrini spectacularly.
This is shown by the different positions he has played across his career.
On the other hand, Pogba can only really play in two maybe 3 overall positions:

- His usual role as a box to box midifelder
- As an attacking mid where he has played successfully before
- In a double pivot/defensive mid position.
This is shown by the different positions he has played in his whole career.
Positions played in midfield other than their usual role:

Pogba - 70
De bruyne - 184

De bruyne has played more than double the amount of games as pogba across the midfield.

For context:
Pogba has played 256 games as a CM
De Bruyne has played 162 games as a CAM.
De bruyne is even better than Pogba defensively.

Tackle success rate:
Pogba -69%
Kevin - 72%

Interceptions per game:

Pogba - 0.5
Kevin - 0.6

This shows how De bruyne could be even better than pogba at playing defensive midfield due to his defensive attributes.
In conclusion: De Bruyne is criminally underrated for his versatility in midfield and the vital work he does in defence and tracking back.

He is not "the best attacking mid", he is the best midfielder in every single position there is even as a No.6.
