More @VolsUniHistory historical tracker posts. Finished 1990 and 1991 last night! 1990 saw a new uniform set for the Vols, moving the sleeve stripes down to the sleeve cuff which stayed there until 1999 depending on the player and sleeve style. & 2 different away jerseys

1990 also featured the “100 years of Volunteers” patch on the home and road uniforms. 1991 tweaked the away jersey adding a white/orange border to the numbers. The Fiesta Bowl at the end of 1991 saw the #s moved to the sleeves for the bowl patch to be added to both shoulders

Working through the @Vol_Football Decade of Dominance with my @VolsUniHistory historical Trackers, and 1992 & 1993 are complete! 1992 saw the return of all white, first appearance since 1982. Orange Pants retired in 1993. Sports Belle Logo appears on sleeves for the first time.

1994.
The year things changed. (For the worse IMO)
-2 sets of road uniforms.
-Final season of the orange/white trimmed #s.
-Black outlined #s and black belts arrive on new away uniforms
-capped sleeves have stripes loose do not
-No shoulder #s on Bowl jersey.
