/8: Pb average clearly is very closely related to PB MAX. The players who tend to have a high PB average, are also those who tend to only need a goal to reach those high peaks. Players with a low average, tend to not reach peaks, even with goals
/8 Pb MAX v G+A in mids and fwds. Here the trend is almost exponential in mids however very linear in fwds. Mids who score more, are likely to be able to achieve a much greater MAX than those who don't. The MAX of fwds however is directly related to G+A's.
/8 PB average v G+A in mids and fwds. Here it is clear that forwards average are very closely related to goals/assists. Mids however, are less dependent on goals/assits to achieve a higher average. They rely more on other PB matrix stats. You really want forwards who score!
/8 Passes v Pb Av. It is clear that in both groups, the more passes a player has, the greater their PB average. Get players who are involved in the game. More passes, more chances created. Better PB.
/8 Passes v PB Max. Again, although less strongly evident - if a player passes more often they are more likely to be able to reach a high PB score. More passes, more chances created, more goals/assists. Get those big passers in your port.
/8 Key passes vs Pb average. Its the same thing with Key Passes. More passes, more likely to produce Key passes. More likely to get Key passes = more chances created = more assists.
/8 Crosses vs Pb. CONTRARY to very popular belief, crosses are pretty insignificantly related to PB average or max. They are used by many as a scapegoat for players not winning, or as a goldmine to pump someone. There are exceptions like Kostic who produce monster crosses p/g.
/8 Dribbles vs PB. It seems players who dribble more and take player on more, are more likely to achieve a high PB average. This is less so the case with achieve a high PB max, although still more relevant than crosses. Worth getting players who pass and dribble a lot.
A message: I hope this served as a helpful insight to some aspects of the PB matrix and how they affect scores. This thread was mainly aimed to give beginners an idea, however I hope it was useful to visualise for all traders! Data from @footballindexed
