“Open the economy” should be quickly and swiftly followed with an infusion of money so PEOPLE can actually open the economy.

With the unemployment numbers in the US at a high you can’t expect that folks will be lining up to buy unnecessary things, sporting events,
Going to restaurants, etc.

It makes no sense. Sure. People might go back to work. But it’ll take a lot of time to rebuild what the country had.

There are no shortcuts.

There is logic, however, and encouragement to be a part of the rebuild of the economy is the next step.
You can also take this thread as it is. But the logic behind "reopening the economy" and not putting resources in place to TRULY reopen the economy will be like eating soup with a fork.
