Most of our national media are remarkably quiet about the #LabourLeaks report, so for those who rely for their information on such titans of forensic fact-seeking and fearless speaking-truth-to-power as our national journalists, here's a summary of the facts from the report. 1/8
The folks who spent 5 years accusing Corbyn & supporters of putting ideological purity above really seeking power, were swapping jolly emails telling each other how they desperately wanted the Labour Party to not gain power because it didn't fit their own right-wing ideology. 2/8
The folks who spent 5 years telling the world that Corbyn & supporters were paranoid conspiracy theorists with their stupid suggestions that some within the party were working against a Labour government, were in fact working against a Labour government from within the party. 3/8
The folks who spent 5 years accusing Corbyn & supporters of having a brutal, bullying, factional culture, shared regular chats in which racist, misogynistic, and just plain psychopathic levels of hatred and abuse were directed towards anyone outside their right-wing faction. 4/8
The folks who spent 5 years claiming Corbyn & supporters were Stalinists seeking to purge the Party of anyone who disagreed with the left, were in fact spending their time trying to purge the Party of anyone who disagreed with the right. 5/8
The folks who claimed, after the 2017 Election, that Corbyn's team had misallocated resources to the wrong seats were, in fact, secretly misallocating resources to the wrong seats. 6/8
The folks who claimed that they cared really deeply about racism, and that Corbyn & the left had prevented cases from being dealt with, were, in fact, running the complaints system until 2018, where they repeatedly ignored or failed to deal with complaints about racism. 7/8
The reason that we're hearing so little from national journos about this is that there can only be two options:

1) They're mugs who genuinely believed the folks who did this; or

2) They knew these were lies, but amplified them anyway.

(PS - By the way, the answer is (2).) 8/8
