Dr @MoetiTshidi: The #COVID19 pandemic has now reached almost every corner of #Africa. There are over 17 000 confirmed cases across the continent.

Dr @MoetiTshidi: In the context of lockdowns and increasing #COVID19 cases, ensuring continuity of essential health services and other basic services must be a priority so that gains made in recent years are not reversed.

Dr @MoetiTshidi: "We worked with the @WFP, @foundation_ma and the Government of Ethiopia to begin “solidarity flights” transporting essential supplies and equipment to countries, including enough personal protective equipment for health workers can safely treat 30,000 patients."
