People w post viral fatigue arising from #Covid19 are advised to follow guidelines which are not fit for purpose & for some will result in significant worsening of their condition, causing permanent long term disability ie #ME

NICE, @NICEComms, are reviewing guidelines re #ME because they include Graded Exercise Therapy which has been proven not to be suitable for people with #ME, an illness caused by viral infections.

A steady increase in activity can easily cause further harm. Exercise might sound like the most benign of recommendations but the hallmark symptom of #ME is that overexertion triggers relapses that can leave patients much sicker ie PENE as per ICC
