Most people experience Déjà vu at least once in their lives. According to research, Déjà vu episodes drop dramatically in older adults; in fact, most reports come from people between age 15 and 25, leading some to wonder if déjà vu is connected to brain development.
Most people who remember their dreams, are most likely to have déjà vu. The phrase Déjà vu is french meaning "already seen". There& #39;s actually a term for dream déjà vu: déjà reve, French for "dreamed before. The feeling is like a flash of memories of things you& #39;ve done before.
Research shows that déjà vu is more likely to happen if a person is under pressure or fatigued. Perhaps when we& #39;re tired, stressed or distracted we only recall a fraction of an event just to trigger a sense of familiarity. Research also shows that déjà vu decreases with age.
I strongly believe that sometimes dreams are connected with déjà vu. I& #39;ll be sharing my own story of a déjà vu I had which has to be one of the scariest if not the scariest déjà vu I& #39;ve ever had.
This is a true Déjà vu story.

At a very young age, I began having this feeling of seeing things that would happen. It started with things I refer to as portals which gave me clues to what will happen in the future. Never really took them serious until the first time
I experienced déjà vu actually came to pass. I was supposed to travel from school by bus after I was done with exams. I got to the park very early so o could get the front seat due to length of my legs. I always wanted to be comfortable due to the distance and stress of the
Journey.I booked the front seat and sat for like 40 minutes before heading to a nearby shop to get a drink. Unfortunately I did not alert any of the drivers before leaving so, when I got back, a lady had taken my seat and was not ready to forfeit it. I& #39;m this type of person that
Would not condone any type of bullshit but on that day, I started having this feeling of seeing her face and could even tell what her next move was going to be. I became numb and found everything that was happening around me very funny. The driver of the bus I was supposed to
Board was fighting for me to get my space back but all I could do was smile because I knew she would not stand up.I took some steps back so I could assure myself that I was still alive and not like a walking ghost. I recovered after some minutes and went ahead to tell the driver
To let the lady be tho I was not happy about the situation. The driver apologized and I was given the front seat to the next available bus. The first bus took off and the second bus was filled up in no time. I was pleased cos the journey was from Sokoto to Kwara
This happened sometimes during 2015. When my bus took off, I had the strangest feeling. I was in the other bus, and I could hear people scream, shout and pray to God for help. I was legit scared cos it felt all real. I thought it was just a dream only for me to realise that
I was yet to blink and my eyes were wide open. We had been traveling for four hours before we reached a spot where a bus had been involved in an accident. Our bus stopped and we came down and immediately I felt my bowels begin to shake and my legs immediately turned to jelly
The bus I was supposed to board in the first place was the one involved in an accident and the lady who took my place, was the only person that died tho other people were severely injured. I could not look at her corpse because she was covered with blood. I then remembered
The screams and shouts I was hearing when I thought I was dreaming. I literally saw everything happen even though I was not there. I knew it was going to happen and I did not pay attention to it. It was one the scariest days of my life with the thought that I would have been
The one in the pool of blood, Laying lifeless on the ground.
Déjà vu is real. Tho I know some people might not believe this. I thought I was the only one going through things like this until I had a conversation with a friend who used to see ghosts and people thought he was crazy. They& #39;re so many crazy and unanswered questions.
