Since the beginning of this there has been from the Republican regime and its propaganda apparatus only one priority, and that is creating a narrative favoring the president no matter what the outcome—which makes them largely indifferent to the outcome.
The enemy for Republicans is not the virus, but criticism—particularly valid criticism. Investigation—particularly valid investigation.

It's an inescapable truth that Trump, elected Republicans, far right media, and white evangelical christians (as well as other white supremacist groups that comprise the GOP base), all see other humans as disposable.
