Advice for future Science NQTs who are feeling a little lost. A thread https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⬇️" title="Downwards arrow" aria-label="Emoji: Downwards arrow">

These are all suggestions. If you want to relax, please do!

1. Use #FFBScience #FFBChemistry #FFBPhysics #FFBBiology to follow fellow science teachers.

2. CPD

Subject specific CPD probably the most useful at the moment. It& #39;s much easier to teach it if you know it.

@RSC_EiC has superb free (until August and if you use the code) courses here
https://www.rsc.org/cpd/teachers

Read">https://www.rsc.org/cpd/teach... the specification or complete a @SenecaLearn course. 2/
3. Lessons
You don& #39;t know classes/expectations making planning v. v. hard.

Collating a bank of resources will make it easier to find a good resources quickly rather than trawling TES for hours.

Resources at @STEMLearningUK @RSC_EiC @IOPTeaching @RoyalSocBio @NuffieldFound

3/
There are hundreds of teacher generated resources in this thread too.

4. Ignore those saying it& #39;s impossible.

Saying "it& #39;s the hardest year of your teaching career".... of course it is?! You get better with experience (mostly).

It doesn& #39;t mean you won& #39;t be good the first time. DM and build your network if you need support.
