⚠️ Calling scholars of early modern literature ⚠️ Missing conferences and/or seminars? After discussions with some brilliant tech/comms people, I’m thinking of setting up a virtual seminar series via @StAnnesCollege @UniofOxford until things return to something like normal. [1]
The format would be simple: The speaker presents some aspect of their research (for 15-20 mins), either speaking informally and generally or by giving a paper. Then 30-40 mins for audience qs. [2]
This would be run through a new webpage, attached to @StAnnesCollege @UniofOxford, and the seminars would be run through our FB Live facility. Speakers and audiences wouldn’t need any extra tech or to sign up for any new websites. It’d be v straightforward to take part. [3]
Would you be interested, either to present or to tune in? If so, please let me know - either in comments or by DM or email (robert.stagg@ell.ox.ac.uk). If there’s sufficient interest, I’ll get this set up to start in early/mid May. [\\End Thread]
