I think what Captain Tom Moore has achieved is amazing and I am completely in awe of the publics generosity. But I am also furious that this is what it's come to. 1/

The NHS is a public service, that we all pay for through taxes but has been systematically underfunded for 10 years by a government that want to see us rid of it for financial gain. 2/

It should not take a pandemic and a 100 year old man walking around his garden to show the value of service, both inherently and intrinsically. It should not be the job of the public to save this service with their already taxed income. 3/
