the story for when I saw sizzy was so crazy so I shall include it in this thread
Her summer tour wasnāt coming down to Miami and I really wanted to go see her. I tried planning go to NY but I never went through with buying the flight.
Fast forward and I got my work schedule for that week and I was scheduled to work the day of the show (plus I had a shift assignment that no one likes so I knew no one would pick up/swap). At this point, it was the week of the show so I figured I wasnāt gonna go anyway.
I joked around to my manager about how I wanted to go and I told him āif someone picks up my shift, best bet I will buy a flight right then and thereā and by some MIRACLE, someone picked up the shift.
Here I am looking at Delta flights from MIA to LGA for a trip in four days. Spent $350 and booked it! Got a hotel 15 minutes from Trans Pecos for $150. I was ready to go.
That weekend, I was BOOKED. Friday: got my nails done & went to a job interview for a radio station. (Didnāt get the job unfortunately.) I then rushed home, put on some glitter eyeshadow and went to Wynwood Pride (and saw @DORIANELECTRA!) Gonna include some more pride pictures because it was a beautiful. Never have I been anywhere where that the love is so apparent and abundant. Everyone was so happy because they were welcome! It was super inspiring and Iām hoping pride will still happen later this year!!
Saturday: worked in the morning. Rushed home, showered, and ubered to the Culture Room to see @LaurenSanderson when she was opening for Chase Atlantic. I queued for about 2-3 hours. Great set and got to meet Lauren :)
Sunday: woke up super early, despite getting home super late, to go the airport. The funniest part of that day was when we are on the way to venue, I saw a tattoo shop!! So my spontaneous ass said āfuck itā and alas came my fourth tattoo an hour before doors
I get inside and by the tour shirt! Iām in the second row now! And the girls in front of me are hardcore stans writing āsing bestieā on their arms. It was also my first time seeing @chloemk and it made me a stan. I heard āto be youngā before the show but DAMN. Chloe is magic.
FINALLY the woman of the hour @sizzyrocket comes out. I am so excited and shaking like a child. EVERYONE is BELTING every song. Thatās what cool with sizzy. Everyone REALLY loves her and knows all the words so the energy is so much more united than any other concert Iāve been to.
