excuse me while I look back at how I became a carat (future me this is for you)
I& #39;m not new to kpop. I& #39;m a 2nd gen fan (suju, snsd, bigbang, 2ne1, can& #39;t fit all their names in here). But I& #39;ve only recently been a fan of SVT.
i& #39;ve heard about SVT before, way back in college but i never paid attention because at that time i stopped listening to kpop. the only kpop groups i recognized were EXO and Black Pink
my last year in college (2018) we had to a do a lyrical dance. We chose a slow rap song but since none of us are good choreographers, one of my friends decided we can copy some moves from kpop dances since it& #39;s just an org dance and only a few will watch
they chose to copy the first part of DWC and the woozi solo part. And I& #39;ve watched the DWC dance practice video multiple times without even knowing the name of the artist. I would just gush about how amazingly synchronized all of them are and how incredibly unique their choreo is
and I know I& #39;m stupid for not even trying to look up the artist but I guess I just had a lot of things worrying about at that time. Anyways, that was my first encounter with SVT. That& #39;s why DWC will always hold a special place in my heart uwu
flash forward to after I graduated. I had several months off before i had to review for my licensure exam. I spent those months rekindling my love for kpop and of course I started with suju. That& #39;s how I learned about Jun, the guy who looks a lot like my ult bias, heechul

Even then, I NEVER LOOKED UP WHAT GROUP HE& #39;S FROM. I& #39;M SO STUPID. And then when I actually reviewed for my exam, my roommate turned out to be a monbebe and a bit of a carat.
And i even asked her thr forbidden question, "why are they called seventeen? Are there 17 members?" i& #39;m so sorry

still, i didn& #39;t become a carat then. That was the love shot and tempo era so I started stanning EXO lol. I still love them, no doubt Vocal Kings

and then I started working for my first job ever. And one of my workmates is a huge multi fandom member. I think she knows all groups and songs, it& #39;s insane. I could never

She would always play kpop songs and I particularly got attached to DWC. Which at that time I had forgotten

this thread has gone on for too long and I don& #39;t think I& #39;ve made my point yet LOL. So, let& #39;s get to it.
