Soon after dec 6, 1992 there was communal tension in Suri(Birbhum). Some liaquat Ali had dropped a freshly cut cow-head in front of the local Dharmaraj temple. A local Hindu man Dilu Ghosh went to confront Liaquat in his home. Liaquat fled from his home by then.

Meanwhile, local hindus gathered in front of temple after hearing the news. Soon police force reached the spot under SP J.S.Naloa. He ordered police to lathi charge on innocent Hindus instead of arresting Liaquat !

Dilu reached there & grabbed Naloa's throat.

Witnesses say local police broke atleast 10 lathis on Dilu's back but couldn't save Naloa from his grip. It took atleast 20 policemen to reduce Naloa from Dilu. Naloa was almost senseless by then.

The aggressiveness of Bengali hindu in rural areas are common show during election. Bagdi, Aguri, Sadgop various communities are legendary for their ferociousness. It's a pure bad luck on our part that we don't get to know abt these tales of valour of Bengali Hindu men.

May Hindu Bengalis get to know abt the tales of the courage of these men who're ready to sacrifice their all for Jati & Dharma.
