In Italy, as they enter their 4th week of lockdown, government officials sounded alarm about gangs and organized crime attacking stores. Police also stationed outside supermarkets in Palermo after angry residents refused to pay for their purchases.

In Italy, a lot of people were earning an income in cash like waitering jobs, off loading trucks, temporary work. The fact that people aren’t able to have an income, and feel that their dignity is now affected, this may influence social behaviour in some way.
