Mission Critical ~ April 15th, 2020
This thread is late (should have been up yesterday) because last night I had to push through and finish a project I was working on. Literally stayed up the whole night.
I wanted to quit so many times. I was tired. Annoyed. Irritated. Ready to immolate some software. (Not all software is created equal).
Luckily I persevered and managed to complete that project. It’s not the best. But I did what I could with the tools at hand. And it feels great to have accomplished that. Especially after struggling so so long to do anything.
And then it finally dawned on me. My mission in this life. I had read several times about how having a mission is the ultimate “pull” towards your goals. I thought I knew my mission at times in the past. But I must have been mistaken.
Because today, once I had my realization, it was as though a great energy coursed through my body. It was unreal. I’d even daresay spiritual. Unlike anything I have ever felt in my life before.
It was a beautiful moment. One I hope to remember for the rest of my life.
So I just want to say, if you are struggling, or you find yourself in a mire - keep pressing forward. You are NOT meant to stay there. It is merely temporary.
That does not mean it won’t hurt getting out. It probably will. It certainly did for me. I don’t want to lie to you. Not even a comforting one. The good news is there is a better destination waiting for you. So that you may ascend and find your purpose. Your mission.
Because if it can happen to me after all I have been through, I promise it can happen to anyone.
Just do one thing today that will lead to a better tomorrow. No matter how small. And count that as your first new victory. The first of many yet to come.
