okay.

i got bored.

and i've made a list.

i know it's going to be controversial.

let me say this straight away...

i love every episode of bob's burgers.

every single one (except like the 3rd one. i hate that the cow dies).

i love every episode.
that bears repeating.

but i've created a list of my top 20 episodes.
these are the ones i know by heart, start to finish.

some of you are gonna be tempted to be all, "what about___" episode? Jesus. please don't be that guy. everybody hates that guy.

oh....
one last, very real caveat-
i've tried to order these according to the strength of my love.
but the reality is, i feel RIDICULOUSLY strong about numbers 1, 2, and 3. the rest i just bang with super duper heavy.

1. purple rain-union (linda gets her HS band back together. features one of the greatest songs of the series, "derrick dematopolis."
2. the hauntening (halloween ep where belchers try to scare louise).

3. sheesh! cab bob (bob takes 2nd job to pay for tina's party. epic homage to "sixteen candles" ft. thompson twins song).
4. turkey in a can (thanksgiving ep. someone keeps putting bob's turkeys in the toilet).
5. topsy (louise's edison project. has THE greatest song in series).

6. glued, where's my bob (bob gets stuck on toilet. has second greatest song in the whole series).
7. v for valentine-detta (our first introduction to nat, one of the most legendary characters of all time)
8. the gene & courtney show (gene and courtney host the am announcements)

9. the land ship (tina starts tagging)
10. bob and deliver (bob becomes a substitute home ec teacher)
11. broadcast wagstaff (tina auditions to become a school newscaster. someone's pooping all over school.)
12. bad tina (tammy's new to school and becomes a bad influence on tina)

13. the last gingerbread house on the left (bob is mr. fish's secret weapon in a gingerbread-making contest)
14. bob rest ye merry gentlemen (the belchers host a guest for christmas w/ a curious love backstory)
15. dr. yap (dr. yap is in love with gayle. gayle likes bob)

16. ex machtina (tina breaks her ankle and gets super close to jimmy jr via a robot/facetime thing)
17. presto tina (tina takes up magic to get back at jimmy jr)
18. bob actually (this one should probably be ranked higher. bob learns "hip hop.")

19. ain't miss debatin' (tina joins debate team and kinda dates henry).
20. teen a witch (tina becomes a witch. i love this one so much b/c mr. ambrose is one of my favorite supporting characters).

my list probably leans a little bit towards tina...
but gene is my favorite.

but i DO want to say this...

the most underrated character on this whole show--
lol...

is zeke.

oh...i'm about 4 eps behind on s10, but nothing from 10 is a top 20 favorite, so far.
i THINK there were a couple of eps from ep 9 on my original list, but i'm not sure if any made the final cut.
