So earlier this month my school kicked me out my dorm because I was sick. I told them that my family has Covid-19 including my grandma who’s 80 and my aunt who’s on breathing support because she’s unresponsive. They aren’t allowing me to stay and they are also not refunding me.

When I told them I was staying with a friend who’s family allowed me stay for a couple weeks, they responded with “someone informed us it’s your boyfriend you’re staying with, why can’t you continue to stay there?”

They took over a week to get back to my emails. Just to tell me that I had a remainding balance with the school so my aid will be going straight to the balance and “will not be putting money in my hand”.

So not only did they kick me out, invade my privacy, mishandle the situation, become unresponsive, AND offer no solution, but they are also telling me that I have to pay for a dorm and dining hall plan that I wasn’t granted access to because I was SICK.

I also lost my job because of the pandemic, and have no financial support from my family as I’m the one who supports them. I’m not eligible for the stimulus check or unemployment as a student and stripper. I’m fucked in every way possible.
