I'm about to compress a thread right here of my favorite of Stevie @agitateorganize's writings, both good threads, essays, and letters, to bring attention to his current situation. Stevie is currently in the hole, which is solitary confinement if you didn't know, as retaliation for his statement of solidarity with Rickers prisoners... He has long been an accomplice in the struggle against NYC jail-building, even as an activist locked up in SCI Fayette (PA).
For instance, he has been writing publicly in solidarity with movement folk on the outside in NYC since the potential for Rickers to close *and* no more jails be built in the city was almost a reality. Many of the ppl I correspond w/ see the hole quite a bit. & some people like Tashiri in SHU for 2 decades+. Right now Stevie is in solitary at SCI Fayette. I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks now.
