How I am trying (and still failing at points) to stay productive rn:

1. iSTUDIES Pro App

It’s a great app to keep track of class times, assignments, quizzes and test. It’s basically a giant school calendar with assignments that won’t crowd my google calendar.
2. I check my email like C R A Z Y

If I miss something while already not feeling motivated....bayyybeeeee, it’s over. I check it all dayyyyyy.
3. Making e-learning “fun”

I needed ways to make sure I am still taking notes and studying. Bc let’s be real, no prof. is looking you in your face and you’re not surrounded by students. So I started taking quick notes on google and transferring to GoodNote to make study guides
3 (Cont.): Cute stuff makes me wanna do it more and read it. I’m also not about to waste paper in quarantine. It also helps the days go by quicker by taking the time to do this (im still working on my handwriting on here lol)
4. I have a FLEXIBLE routine

Don’t let the capitalist weirdos of the world make you think you need to come out with side hustle and 1 million in your savings after all this. Wake up, practice good hygiene, eat nutrient dense foods, and watch Netflix when I want.
4 (Cont.): There are certain things I just make sure to do every day. My morning routine is super important to me so if I don’t do anything “productive” all day I still ate breakfast, took my vitamins and supplements, have tea, and skincare
5. I talk to my friends!

My friends and I will call each other to do assignments and just talk. It’s like our normal in person study sessions. It’s very refreshing and makes it feel “normal” *whatever that is*
6. I protect my mental health

A pandemic is serious lol So I don’t let inconsiderate professors or *what seem like* meaningless assignments ruin my day. If my anxiety is rough one day I will take a break if nothing is due right that second. I mean we got time lol
7. Exercise

I don’t do full blown circuits everyday. Hell, even every other. If I want to do something I will take walks do that circuit, etc. I do it if I feel up to it. I try to make it a stress reliever or remind myself it’s good for my immunity (i miss soul cycle, ugh)
8. Be real with your professors

Tell them they are doing too much or not enough. Tell them to be considerate of people effected by all this. Tell them you need extra time (dont take advantage). Ask them how are they are doing (if you care) It makes the overall experience easier
9. Keep my space clean

I try to have space CLEAN dedicated for work. I still slip up and do work in bed https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🥴" title="Woozy face" aria-label="Emoji: Woozy face"> but I use my desk or kitchen table. The couch is good too!
