Alright, apparently, this wouldn’t be my last word on #EndTheSem. Let’s get into it.
1. As of today, several teachers have already expressed their support for ending the sem. Signifying their willingness to pass student sans numerical w/ a proposal to give INC for special cases https://twitter.com/themegaratron/status/1249889630796701696

2. On the topic of P, I would like to remind everyone that amid a pandemic is not the time to worry about the numerical value of P. As the petition has stated, survival and recovery is and should be the main priority.
2.1 We are also thinking of adopting the move to petition as well to not count this sem for latin honors, for those who are concerned, nor for scholarship cut-offs. When things are a matter of life-and-death we have no right to burden students of this requirement.
3. Lost learning experience: this can be addressed by the move to modify the syllabi enough to make sure that students still take the necessary fundamental lessons that they need for their major subjects in their courses.
3.1 hence, answering the concern of students on the argument of quality education.
I might be adding more to this thread if questions are asked but so far, that’s that. I’d like to remind everyone that after this pandemic ends, things will not be as they were before.
So, we must expect that significant changes will take place, let’s make sure those changes are ones we’re amenable to, pro-student, and geared towards recovery and development.
