Trump obviously could say, "these Michigan protests are bad and dangerous, please stay inside."

But McConnell could do that too. So could Pence.

so could republican leaders in Michigan. Republican leadership could just save a lot of Republican lives by telling Fox news and the right wing media to stop trying to kill people.

instead, they're fine with their constituents dying.
