I've seen the Rollins vid.

It's not like I think he's actively trying to be bad or ignorant - on the contrary, like many WWE-fans/defenders he's earnestly trying to do what he understands as "the right thing" and show support for his friends/place of business.

BUT...
...criticizing a billionaire (who produces increasingly unwatchable weekly television btw) for sacking a bunch of people after paying Florida $18.5 million to be deemed an essential business (which WWE is not) during a global pandemic...isn't "being negative".

It's being honest.
I despise when well-meaning, benevolent language like "now is a time to come together" is used (knowingly or otherwise) for the express purpose of shutting you up. It's disgraceful.

Never. Shut. Up.

Scream the truth, especially when it's inconvenient.

18.5 million dollars.
When they tell you "Now is not the time..." know that this means, "Now is EXACTLY the time!"

Those who prosper from the status quo and do not possess a self critical lens will view calls for positive change as "needlessly negative" or "insensitive" or "combative" etc...
...yes some fans are absolute assholes. I'm sure Seth has encountered them online and in-person and he has my sincere sympathies for dealing with those A-Holes. I like Seth a lot.

But it's better to say nothing right now than to suggest fans shouldn't express anger at WWE...
...he has conflated a personal (and understandable) aggravation with trolls and "the expression of any criticism online".

That leads to a misguided perspective. And he defaults to the WWE-flag bearer role he aspires to - a role that is inherently heel...he just doesn't know it.
