The idea that @brittlepaper overreacted by revoking Otosirieze’s account is absurd. That& #39;s standard practice to protect against disgruntled employees in every industry. They could have reconciled after that, but it& #39;s absolutely a necessary precaution to protect the publication
Consider other African publications who have had their sites taken hostage by vengeful formal members. It costs money, time, and stress u wouldn& #39;t believe, with repercussions spanning years, potential permanent damage & it& #39;s VERY common.
She made the only responsible choice in that situation and he still managing to screw her. Imagine if he& #39;d begun this vendetta and still had access to their site and accounts? I& #39;ve seen too many toxic & #39;feminist& #39; men in literary communities to buy any of what he& #39;s serving
I& #39;m queer. I respect him LGBTQ+ activism. But also, some of the most misogynist, dangerous men I& #39;ve ever met have been queer & #39;feminist& #39; men. I& #39;m not saying he is, but his identity doesn& #39;t prove anything. The way he& #39;s leading a mob to slander a woman leader tells me MUCH MORE.
This cancel culture is getting completely out of control. Trying to bring down a respected publication with YEARS of proved integrity based on hearsay of one angry bro trying to call a professional, intellectual woman a gang rape apologist? Pls. If that& #39;s not sexism, what is??
