So I've been meaning to talk about Kitsutsuki Tanteidokoro (or Woodpecker Detective's Office) since it aired, so here's my thread!

First of all, the main characters are Very Good

The anime is set in 1909 but the OP (which is a BOP!) gives a neat little glimpse at the characters in modern outfits and I'm here for it

I'm in love with this little cut of animation - the movement of the camera makes it feel like there's an ACTUAL camera that's moving here. So much effort put into such a simple shot, I can't NOT appreciate it

Also the animation in the ED is so beautifully realistic it must be rotoscoped or something
