and notably in the CofE, in the 1928 proposed book, & other early 20th cent "long form" eucharistic prayers, which proposed structural change without Dix (or Hippolytus). Those sympathetic to the critique but more attendant to the history ought to look to these other models. 2/3
While there are other issues, and not everyone wants Tudor English, the attraction to some of the phraseology of Cranmer to many shouldn't give the problems of the post-1549 eucharistic rites a free pass. 3/3
