Thread on Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts' best trait is his mobility. A true dual threat QB.

Hurts is capable of making accurate throws on the run.
Jalen Hurts has the ability to create out of structure and extend plays.
I really like how poised and cool he stays under pressure. Never lets it bother him.
For example on this play, the ball is snapped low and initially the ball is on the ground. However, Hurts doesn't panic. He simply picks the ball up, resets his feet, and finds an open Ceedee Lamb.
Hurts is usually pretty accurate while throwing on the run.
Hurts is really difficult to bring down in the pocket due to his athleticism.
Jalen Hurts really did create a ton of big plays out of structure. He wasn't just a product of that Lincoln Riley offense.
Pocket awareness is usually pretty good, but has the tendency to hold onto the ball a tad too long. He was able to get away with this at OU because of how great their protection was, but this will not be the case in the NFL.
My biggest downside for Jalen Hurts was his deep ball accuracy. Hurts missed way too many open receivers down the field this season and left a ton of yards on the field.
On that last throw, the ball should have gone to Lamb's left shoulder away from the deep safety (dotted blue line) rather that towards the safety (red line), where it could be easily contested.
Hurts often under throws his deep balls.

Although Lamb ultimately catches this ball, he has to slow down and adjust for the ball. If the cornerback had gotten his head back around, this would have been an easy pick.
