Read a lot about the company’s change of ownership, the soy scandal (not listed in label), but these don’t answer the question of how to make the mix at home? I can order raw ingredients, right? But, recipes vary widely. Other Western producers not avail in Toronto.

Sonny Boy Foods apparently makes a version that’s supposed to be good, but I emailed them, and they didn’t reply with info on where to buy it in Toronto. Only offered to ship me a package for $100. http://sunnyboyfoods.com/our-food/hot-cereal">https://sunnyboyfoods.com/our-food/...
So, I just want a recipe, and I’ll order the raw grains and make a massive batch....but now I’m nervous that there’s an “original” recipe and a mass-produced recipe. My mom thought it used to have 5 or 7 grains in it. (She’s from the Manitoba/Ontario border and grew up on it.)
@karonliu Does this thread interest you at all? Maybe you can get answers, and maybe your readers, who are suddenly all over oatmeal, might be in the mood?
