Thread-- I want to stand in support of my friend, colleague and fellow editor Ainehi Edoro of  @brittlepaper I have read and reread the statements by her and Otosirieze Obi-Young. It is quite clear that this is a dispute about the type of "post" deemed appropriate for the blog.
As founder, editor and sole financier of the magazine, Ainehi is well within her rights to expect a certain standard of writing and also to monitor the precise nature of the content especially given the sensitive subject matter and potentially powerful people being taken to task
Otosirieze's response seems spiteful, attention-seeking and slanderous to the extreme. The fact that he won't defend his friend & colleague of many years against claims she supports rape culture shows how low he is sinking. He even seems to be baiting for further public fighting
In my memory, @brittlepaper 's publication history shows that they rigorously support feminism, women, LGBT causes. They've promoted controversial, queer writing and empowered many voices in the past years. Its unlikely that Otosirieze was censored or muted during his time there
This is a private quarrel and should be resolved privately. Please stop fueling trolls and obscenity masked as righteousness, feminism or wokeness. Support Ainehi Edoro and STOP these cruel and utterly false attacks on her.
