This has been hard for me to write. I’m still extremely crushed and in denial about Bernie ending his campaign. I’ve been crying and really depressed lately.. I’m not sure where we go from here, but after hearing @ninaturner on the breakfast club I felt a little at ease.

Nina has been an inspiration of mine since last election. Her courage, her strength, her willingness to fight for someone like me are just a few of her many strengths. She’s truly touched many of our lives, and I hope she realizes that.
For once in my life, I felt like I had a voice, and Nina has reminded me that we all deserve better. We deserve to be treated with dignity and respect no matter what our socio-economic status is.
We deserve to have Medicare for all, clean drinking water, and a livable planet. In her interview today, Nina reminded me that demanding basic human necessities isn’t radical and is our right. Also politicians have to earn our vote.
Lastly, I want to thank you Nina for helping lead such a powerful movement. I look forward to you leading and I hope you will . We desperately need strong Black women to lead the way. Thank you Senator Nina Turner. Thank you for fighting for us.
As SNT would say
