Idk why there seems to be this stereotype in some socionics circles that Betas are angry, close-minded, and aggressive. Like... "trying to understand where someone is coming from" is seen as an Alpha/Delta thing exclusively, which is completely wrong ime

sorry, should say some socionics enthusiasts, not circles necessarily. haven't seen a whole circle like this lol

but yeah basically this is just... what healthy people are supposed to do. and it's what we get taught in my profession, as well--a baseline of empathy and "assuming positive intent" is critical for any kind of meaningful exchange of information/ideas
