Maybe a silly question, but have you all heard of Nextdoor? Just discovered it and...it's pretty horrifying. Seems like basically an app for white people who aren't officially cops to be cops and call cops.

There's a "crime and safety" section where people post various "crimes" (mostly just re: shelterless people). I posted inviting people to join a groupchat to imagine how we can mobilize community members to solve problems by pressuring the city rather than demonizing individuals.

We'll see how people respond...but this website is wild and fucked
