I don't know if the market has really had it's come to Jesus moment yet. There's just zero urgency on the part of politicians to get anything of substance done.

Bailing every politically connected industry out is not a viable long term solution for the pandemic.
What I was hoping for over the last few weeks is that we'd get smart. That politicians AND the public would realize they cannot defeat a highly infectious virus that spreads asymptomatically. That we'd accept the virus will spread and prepare for the inevitable spread.
While we are expanding testing, and FINALLY asking citizens to wear masks, it does not seem to be enough. You'd want to see some type of trials to show effective drugs that give citizens confidence. You'd want to see expansion of hospitals that remain in place for the duration...
Instead we're closing down hospitals, running flawed studies, and not publishing or analyzing the data rationally. The media has thrown fuel on the fire. Half the population is terrified, and there's still no plan forward to get the global economy not just the US's back on track.
I remain hopeful, and will continue to invest in my wonderful biotech stocks run by people who lack fundamental understandings of biology. But I will be hedged.
