Does this cosplay look amazing? Absolutely. It's top tier cosplay. You know the keyword here? COSPLAY. This would NOT look good on film. It simply would not. You could do zero stunts in it. Acting would be difficult. Getting emotion would be more difficult.

Just because something looks good in a STILL IMAGE does NOT mean it would translate 1 to 1 on film.

There’s a reason things work for cosplay and that those same techniques are not used by costume designers for film.

The purposes are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Most cosplay that I've seen (and worn) aren't exactly easy/functional. It's purely aesthetic, which is great, but that's its singular purpose.

These factors & more are why I get annoyed when people go "this cosplay looks so good Idk why they don't do this for film" [END THREAD]
