It& #39;s both sad and hilarious how pathetic Nietzsche& #39;s life was in comparison to his grand and larger-than-life writings. When he released The Birth of Tragedy, academic philologists at the time thought it was so bad that the reputation of Nietzsche& #39;s philology department worsened
And the next semester Nietzsche only received 2 students. He then decided to send one of his musical compositions to composer Hans von Bülow, and Hans thought it was so bad he asked "is the whole thing a joke; perhaps you intended a parody of the so-called music of the future?"
