I am not interested in re-writing the KD era.
Warriors fans wanted him to stay, but he chose to leave for a number of reasons.
In & #39;17, GSW fans took him in as one of our own. Outside voices made it KD vs Dubs.
The pushback was always against the "he carried" narrative.

In & #39;19, that frustration + free agency circus created a weird reaction from loud groups on Twitter.
But reality shows that he was beloved and appreciated and wanted. Spend 20 min walking in SF and you& #39;d see 10 people in KD shirts.
It just didn& #39;t work out beyond 3 years.

People with agendas are going to re-frame this until people forget what happened. It& #39;s already being done. They& #39;re not interested in telling the real story.
KD was just as much a Warrior as anyone else until he wasn& #39;t. And even then, still a legend here.

I& #39;m also not interested in reducing that time and dynamic to simple narratives ("KD carried" vs. "Needed to join Steph to win").
A team can have multiple great players at the same time.
Steph was great with and without KD. KD was great with and without Steph.
